"A Large Renaissance Chest"
Important Renaissance chest entirely made of gilded oak. The front has five carved panels with the remains of a beautiful lock in the center. It opens with a flap and offers a large volume inside as well as a small box for valuables. On the sides two panels come out. The top seems original with an old restoration in the central part and at the hinges. Good proportions as often at that time: a truly beautiful period piece of furniture intended for an old residence...
