"Large Pesaro Plate, Tito Magrini, Last Third Of The 19th Century"
Large majolica display plate made in Pesaro by the artist Tito Magrini in the last third of the 19th century.
Excellent pictorial quality. The plate is housed in a contemporary wooden frame.
Unfortunately, as you can see, it needs restoration.
However, all the parts are present!
Tito Magrini was a skilled ceramic decorator in Pesaro and also worked at the Molaroni factory. It seems that at the end of the century he moved to Bologna to work for Minghetti.
The plate measures 51 cm in diameter and, with the frame, reaches 62 cm.
