Oil on panel (hardboard) signed E. Febvre*, depicting a gypsy camp in the snow, with many people chatting and a caravan on the edge of the central path, from the 20th century. This painting is in good condition. Signed lower right. Note: some wear and tear, see photos.*Edouard Febvre (1885-1967): Active in the 20th century. He is the painter of gypsies, sad suburbs, fortifications and suburban streets in the snow, and funfairs. He painted many scenes of the Butte Montmartre, then left Paris for Nantes. At the Salon d'Automne in 1941, he exhibited a painting entitled "Effet de neige".
