Ln Naudin: Confiturier In Sterling Silver Vermeil Empire Era"helios" Mascarons Paris 1809-19
Extraordinary Confiturier in solid silver from the Empire era. Piece resting on a square base with flower friezes equipped with four feet called "Lion" with palmette attachments framed by fleurons. Spectacular antique decoration with in particular its openwork uprights representing on each side the representation of Helios God of the Sun on his Chariot drawn by four Horses carried by lightning and swirling winds / clouds. The grips / handles are doubled and end with heads in antique helmets, with mascarons as attachments. The fretel surmounting the lid presents two dolphins back to back surmounted by flowers and fruits. Complete set with interior in blue crystal in perfect condition.
Hallmarks of 1st Title "Coq" (.950) and guarantee for PARIS 1809-19 and Hallmark of Master Goldsmith LN NAUDIN (dit Fils) received in 1812-13. Attached is a service of 12 Vermeil jam spoons characterized by pointed spoons, with a rich decoration located on one side and including the 2nd Title and guarantee Hallmarks for Paris 1819-38 and the Hallmarks of the Mo speciality spoon maker François-Pamphile JOSAN (FJ and two boatman's oars in saltire, and a point on each side).
