Pretty chest of drawers inlaid with rosewood, the slightly curved front opening with three drawers on three rows. The top is inlaid with geometric motifs, the frame is in fir and the drawer bottoms in walnut. Beautiful ornamentation of chiseled and gilded bronzes such as, pull handles, foliate rosettes, keyholes, corner falls with espagnolette, sabots and apron with the mask of Ceres, hallmarked with the crowned R for the most part, original locks. Louis XIV period. Usual restorations carried out, polish with a tampon. The hallmark with the crowned R was affixed in the provinces under Louis XIV and the Regency on furniture bronzes but also various copper objects, it is earlier than the crowned C.
