"Pierre Casenove Gilded Sculpture Lamp Base Circa 1980"
Gilded metal lamp-sculpture created by Pierre Casenove (born in 1943), a French designer trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Montpellier. This piece features a stylized zoomorphic decoration, typical of the formal language of Casenove, who became known in the 1980s with his creations published notably by Ligne Roset.
