Neo-classical School, Early 19th Century : "portrait Of A Little Girl"

Neo-classical school, early 19th century: "Portrait of a little girl" oil on canvas mounted on cardboard 34 X 27 cm, mounted in a superb gilded empire frame 58 X 50 cm.
A clever assembly enclosing the original cardboard and holding it in a fir green marie-louise with another Ph neutral cardboard made it possible to avoid gluing.
If the monogram is indeed a W, it could be the artist Jean-Baptiste Wicar (1762-1834), even if the touch seems a little "soft" for him, but he could have softened it voluntarily for a member of his family, like our lovely little girl with fragile delicacy already wearing an earring.
