Jean-Pierre Cassigneul

Great painter and lithographer of the 20th century, Jean-Pierre Cassigneul was born in 1935 in Paris. Grands on of the couturier Jean Dessès, his childhood evolved in the world of fashion. All of his work is dominated by women. Sold and exhibited in the United States, Brazil, Europe and also in Japan where he opted for great success.
150 of his works are exhibited in Japan at the Izu Lake Ippeki Museum.
Also exhibited in Paris in the very pretty Taménaga gallery.
The lithograph offered is old in the artist's work, a charming little side that reminds us of Van Dongen.It is in perfect condition, offered with a fabric mat and a bevel.
