Beautiful half-length portrait of a young man made of terracotta with a dark patina imitating bronze. Made by the Signa factory (see the mark inside: "Manifattura di Signa" in an impressed laurel wreath). A copy of a bronze made in the workshop of Bardi Donato, known as Donatello (workshop), now on display at the Bargello Museum (Florence). Dated late 19th century, early 20th century. Measures 38 cm high, 38 cm long, and 26 cm wide.
