The King is dressed in a richly decorated doublet, and wears the order of the Holy Spirit. He wears a mantelet on his shoulders. Very fine portrait of the face, curly hair and beard, well-defined ruff, characteristic Bourbon nose. Very beautiful workmanship. Three holes in the medal, one above the head, two on each side of the shoulders. Probably fixing holes. French work, Warin?
