"Luca Giordano (1634-1705), Circle Of - The Adoration Of The Magi"
Oil on canvas. Lined canvas. This exceptional painting illustrates the depth of color that Luca Giordano observed in his followers. Nicknamed "Fa Presto" ("Hazlo Rápido") for his speed of painting, Giordano was a versatile and prolific artist. Trained in Naples under José de Ribera, he assimilated tenebrism, traveled, and absorbed the grace of Venetian Rococo and Roman grandeur. This allowed him to develop a unique style, with fluid dots and a use of color that combined the darkness of the Neapolitan tradition with the luminosity of the Venetian school. Unmarked image dimensions: 108 x 72 cm / 122 x 86 cm with a precious antique gold mark.
