Beautiful Louis XV Rococo style jardinière in 800‰ solid silver, made in Hanau circa 1880. With its lively shape, it is richly decorated with scrollwork, foliage, and rocaille cartouches, resting on four scrolled feet. Its generous curves and imposing mass are testament to high-quality silversmithing.
A particularly appreciated feature: it retains its silver-plated inner bowl, removable thanks to two small grip rings, allowing floral arrangements to be created without risking damage to the silver. A piece that is both decorative and functional, solid and elegant, perfectly representative of the historicist taste of the late 19th century.
