Carved Coconut Tomb Of Napoleon I Powder Flask Folk Art 19th Century
Zoomorphic coconut that can form a powder flask, representing an animal with glass eyes, carved on the theme of Napoleon I with his tomb on Saint Helena guarded by two grognards, and two military trophies with arms and flags. Probably convict work from the first half of the 19th century. Dimensions: length approximately 16 cm. Very good general condition, with finely engraved decoration. Cap present but to be reattached.
