Diamonds were not cut in this way after the early 1900's, so they are very sought after. The detailing is also superb, the base of the ring in fine scalloped lace-like loops above which is a circle surrounding a slightly larger central diamond, surrounded by 6 other rose-cut diamonds, which in turn is surrounded by a larger circle of 16 rose-cut diamonds. The Diamonds are claw set.
