Exceptional provenance has two titles this book from the library of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Louis XV (Ex-Libris) of the recognized Bibliophile and belonged to Louis XIV coming from his Library...; presented in a rich binding in glazed calf with a scattering of fleurs-de-lis and angles with a "fan" flat with a rich frame, stamped with the Royal arms of Louis XIV, spine with raised bands also decorated with these pretty irons, without apparent title. A very instructive subject for the King who sees in it a model for a text of the translation of Monsieur de Vaugelas: "Quintecurce of the Life and Actions of Alexander the Great". New Edition, on a new Copy of the Author, which was found since the first printings. With the Supplements of Iean Freinshemius on Quinte Curce, Translated by the late Monsieur Du Ryer.
