Centre table in floral marquetry, crafted in bois de rose, kingwood and other precious wood veneers.
All four sides and the top are decorated with high‑quality inlay work: floral bouquets framed by scrolling foliage on a kingwood ground.
The top is bordered by a gilt‑bronze lingotière. The serpentine apron conceals a large integrated drawer on one of the long sides. The table stands on cabriole legs terminating in finely cast gilt‑bronze sabots.
Its fine proportions, original patina and masterful craftsmanship make it a notable example of late 19th‑century French cabinetmaking.
Condition: good state of preservation, light signs of use, complete and intact in all its marquetry parts.
