The two portraits depict Madame Thérèse de Choiseul, or better known as Marie Thérèse Françoise de Choiseul-Stainville (1767–1794), who was a French noblewoman and Princess of Monaco as she married Prince Joseph I of Monaco and Duke Jacques-Philippe de Choiseul, Comte, later Duke of Stainville, was a French general and Marshal of France from 1783.
The frames are made of wood gilded with gold leaf.
