Vintage IWC Mark XI military watch, circa 1961, for the South African Air Force (SAAF). Stainless steel case, reference 2612. Mechanical hand-wound movement, caliber 89, with stop-seconds function and antimagnetic protection. Matte black "Broad Arrow" dial in excellent condition, with original luminescent Arabic numerals and hands/indexes. Unpolished two-piece steel case, screw-down caseback marked "SAAF 6B/346, AF8'919, 319/61". Dimensions: 36 mm (excluding crown) x 45 mm (including lugs) x 10 mm (including glass). Signed and numbered movement. Rare watch produced in limited quantities for SAAF pilots. Excellently preserved, having undergone a complete workshop overhaul. 2-year warranty.
