Large Wrought Iron Candle Holder Wall Light 1700 15 Flames arranged on an elegant pyramid-shaped iron structure. This Italian artifact of exceptional dimensions is made entirely by hand, it is a refined wrought iron masterpiece, richly embossed and decorated with foliate motifs, elaborate curls and soft volutes. The structure of this monumental 18th century applique is made up of a wall candlestick with 15 candle holders, bayoneted onto the underlying base, a support also made of wrought iron, but later, probably made at the beginning of the 20th century to make this antique iron sconce a floor torch, a lamp for a winter garden. It comes from a private Lombard villa and is in good condition; it is not electrified and given the imposing dimensions, it is possible to opt for the use of the wall sconce alone without support.
