Biography Amir Houshang Jazizadeh, born in 1933 in Isfahan, is one of the most prominent contemporary miniaturists and carpet designers. From the age of seven, he learned art from Mahmoud Tahzibi and Javad Rostam Shirazi. In 1949, he entered the Isfahan School of Fine Arts and successfully completed the Iranian painting course. He then completed a postgraduate course in ceramic design in England. He holds a first-class art diploma in miniature painting, the Brussels Exhibition Silver Medal, the Algerian Government Medal, and the Diploma of the Asian and European Art Biennale in Turkey. His works have been exhibited at Buckingham Palace in London, the Royal Palace of Belgium, the Royal Palace of Finland, and the National Museum of Art in Iran.
