"Cast Iron Fountain In Durenne And Val d'Osne, Late 19th Century"
Imposing cast iron square fountain, statue representing Diana of Gabies. On each side of the mascarons from which the water comes out to fall back into a basin in the shape of a basin, on the other two bouquets with the allegory of summer. Period late 19th century. Note that this fountain is the recomposition of two elements (base and statue) coming from a different origin, hence a bronze-colored varnish patina for the statue and a green paint for the base. This model of fountain did exist, it is archived. A small lack of volute on one of the two basins. Probably stamp of DURENNE on the statue
