Nina Ricci Triptych
Dimitri Bouchène, born April 26, 1893 in St-Tropez and died February 6, 1993 in Paris, was a Russian painter who became a French citizen in 1947. A costume and set designer for theater, ballet, and opera, and a designer for haute couture, he was also a landscape and still life painter. In Paris in 1926, Dimitri Bouchène designed costumes for Anna Pavlova before working for haute couture houses (Lucien Lelong, Jean Patou, Nina Ricci, Lanvin, etc.).
