Total depth: ~80 cm
Total height: ~100 cm
Seat height: ~42 cm
-----
Note the very beautiful carving of the wide belt, with its leaf bud cartel.
The rather low seat and the used fabric give this very beautiful armchair the charm of a country fireside.
On the basis of comparisons (see two examples in the last photo), according to the very elegant structure of this seat and the controlled nervousness of the carving, we propose an attribution to Louis Cresson, received master in 1738.
-----
A small lack in the corner at the junction of the belt and the right front leg.
Reinforcements in belt.
Horsehair trim on straps.
In its old green rep fabric (wear).
This seat has never been upholstered with springs.
