Art Nouveau Ceramic Bust 1900 Royal Dux Bohemia

This ceramic bust was made by Royal Dux. The Royal Dux factory, a Bohemian porcelain brand, distinguished itself at the beginning of the 20th century by its Art Nouveau style productions. Around 1900, this important factory produced vases and figurines, often female subjects, in exuberant decorations of flowers, leaves on shell bases, fountains, etc. The porcelain was left in biscuit form, gilded or painted, often in green. This ceramic is typical of Art Nouveau, especially for the vegetal and "Noodle" side. The lower part is iridescent in blue. We note a small accident in the hair, the rest is in superb condition.
