Charming lamp mounted from a Dutch earthenware vase, polychrome decoration of birds, flowers and insects, signed JVOH (Joost van der Hoef) underneath. Dutch work circa 1950. Elegant polychrome decoration. The curved walls have a hand-painted decoration in vibrant colors: birds of paradise with colorful plumage, blooming flowers, butterflies and dragonflies. The upper part is decorated with geometric friezes and red spirals typical of Delft. Good condition.
