Elegant coin box veneered in ebony, finely decorated with ivory and inlaid bone inlays.

Interior: the small drawers feature knobs and small decorative appliqués, functional for storing coins, jewelry, or small precious objects.
Folding top: the front opens up to reveal a writing and storage surface, also decorated with geometric inserts and ivory inlay motifs.

The coin box is part of the tradition of collectible and storage furniture, highly prized between the 17th and 19th centuries as symbols of prestige and wealth.
The preciousness of the materials (ebony, ivory, and inlaid bone) and the refinement of the decorations make it a particularly elegant piece.
