In this stained-glass window, two herons are fishing. Their feet in the water, they are surrounded by rushes, reeds, and water lilies. Above them, on a pine branch, a bird watches them. A butterfly enjoys the first (or last) rays of sunlight.
This stained-glass window is signed "Foulonneau et Chouteau - Angers," two glass painters active for a short period, from 1893 to 1896.
