Gérard Hofmann (1917-1965) was a French painter and ceramist active in the 1950s and 1960s. After working as a decorator in the Cérenne workshop, he and his wife set up their own workshop on the Route du Col de St Antoine in Vallauris. He distinguished himself with his manganese red and produced high-quality pieces. Our small lamp is in perfect condition, with its original electrification. It is signed under the base. Height of the ceramic with the socket 22 cm Height with the lampshade 32 cm.
