"Meissen - Porcelain Shepherd Group"
Meissen porcelain group representing a pair of shepherds with a sheep (Schäfergruppe). The shepherdess holds a basket filled with bunches of grapes and gives one grape to the man. He holds a handful of grass for the sheep. In very good condition, only one leaf in the basket of grapes is broken. Model created for Michel Victor Acier in 1769. Marked with blue crossed swords and numbered C41. Listed in the Meissen - Bergmann catalog.
