"Greek Terracotta Oenochoe"
Red-figure terracotta oenochoe with white and ochre highlights, on a black background. Trilobed spout, ribbon-shaped handle, ovoid body. Main decoration: female head in profile to the left wearing an embroidered kekriphale and adorned with jewels: diadem, earrings and necklace. Accessory decoration: on the shoulder, frieze of posts and tongues, under the Vance palmette and associated volutes. Broken/glued handle, otherwise very well preserved. Height: 24 cm. Magna Graecia: Apulia 320/300 BC.
