Henri Charles Antoine Baron, born June 23, 1816 in Besançon and died in Geneva on September 11, 1885, is a French painter, draftsman and illustrator. A student of Jean Gigoux, he made his debut at the Salon in 1840 before leaving for a long stay in Italy with his master.
A follower of an elegant style, his palette is romantic. Active in Paris.
