Pair of gilt and chiseled bronze candlesticks from the Empire period, a rich model made in the workshops of *Gérard Jean Galle (1788-1846), eldest son of the famous bronzier Claude Galle (1759-1815).*Bronzier's mark "GF" on the back of a bobèche. (see last photo). These high quality candlesticks have retained their original gilding, we will just note a slight wear of gilding at the base of one of the candlesticks.
