Gilt silver set consisting of a Neo-Gothic style chalice accompanied by its paten of corresponding size. The chalice rests on a circular base with a projection, bordered by a frieze of pearls and decorated with an openwork frieze of leafy scrolls. The terrace is matte gilded, in the center is a screwed Latin cross, enameled with fleur-de-lis. The shaft is tubular, decorated with a collar and a flattened toric knot. The cup of the chalice is slightly conical in shape, with a straight edge, and has the same surface execution, both matte and shiny, as well as the same ornamentation as the terrace of the base of the chalice. The base is weighted. Hallmarks: Minerva 950/1000 on the cup, on the saucer and on the edge of the terrace. Hallmarks of the master silversmith: Demarquet Frères, Paris, 3rd quarter of the 19th century.
