Louis Arnaud sculpture representing a female bust in copper. Louis Arnaud, born in Marseille around 1914, is a 20th-century French sculptor trained at the Beaux-Arts in Marseille and Paris. A student of Henri Bouchard, he created monumental sculptures in Provence and Algeria, such as the Horse Fountain in Algiers. His style, influenced by Maillol, is distinguished by rounded and sensual forms. He worked with a variety of materials and also produced numerous drawings.
