"Louis XVI Style Dressing Table And Armchair – 19th Century"
Elegant 19th-century dressing table in carved and gilded wood, in the Louis XVI style. It features a refined structure with cane decoration, enhanced with foliage and ribbon carvings. It rests on four fluted tapered legs, connected by a carved central spacer. An oval mirror tops the whole, framed with gilded moldings and delicate ornaments. The top is upholstered in black velvet fabric (identical to that of the armchair seat), protected by a custom-made glass pane. The dressing table is accompanied by its original matching armchair, also in carved and caned gilded wood, with a seat reupholstered in black velvet. Refined and decorative work, typical of productions from the second half of the 19th century, in an elegant neoclassical style. The whole retains its patinated gilding and authenticity, with all the charm of its period.
