Elephant walking

Bronze statue of a "large Indian elephant walking" after Rembrandt Bugatti (Italian, 1884-1916). This bronze was cast using the lost wax process. It features a rich dark patina with lighter gray and green undertones. This posthumous casting is based on the statues Bugatti created in 1909 and 1910 of a walking Asian elephant.
