A marvelously elegant statue of a Chinese sailfish. A fine early 20th-century bronze model by Rachel Van Dantzig (1878 - 1949). This sculpture was made in bronze using the lost-wax process. Before being cast, it was signed in the wax. It has a reddish-brown patina and is presented on the original black marble base.
