Bent Severin for Holmegaard, Denmark, 1958 – "Princess" 33-piece glass set
Understated and modernist Scandinavian design.
Created in 1957 by Danish designer Bent Severin, the "Princess" set is distinguished by its clean lines and its iconic detail: a small drop-shaped air bubble trapped in the stem of each glass. Originally designed for the glassmaker Kastrup Glasværk, it was later produced by Holmegaard, one of the most important Scandinavian glass manufacturers.
This model, available for several decades, illustrates Danish expertise in the art of blown glass. Set in very good condition.
Note: one water glass has two small dents on the neck (see last image).
Composition of the set (33 pieces)
9 water glasses: 21 cm
