This painter trained at the Bordeaux School of Decorative Arts.
He exhibited very often in Paris and Algiers; Algiers is mentioned in 1932 and 1934 at the Algerian Orientalist Artists' Salon and in 1938 in the Salmson automobile hall.
His paintings representing waves are often located in Tipaza, two of them decorated the grand salon of the El Kantara ocean liner. He is recognized as a "painter of the sea."
