"Silver Caviar Serving Spoon, Russia, Late 19th-early 20th Century"

Russian silver caviar spoon, with finely chiseled decoration and a fluted handle. The back of the spoon is decorated with a representation of St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow surrounded by acanthus and floral motifs.

Three hallmarks are visible on the side of the handle:
-84 title hallmark
-St. George slaying the dragon hallmark, indicating that the piece was made in Moscow
-Swan import hallmark, used in France from 1893 for works from non-contracting countries

Note scratches from use.
Slightly faded decoration on the handle.
Good general condition.
