Large corporate-type pewter tankard, truncated cone-shaped with a flared base resting on three skates with grotesque masks, with a lid topped with a woman presenting an attribute of wheelwrights or wheelmakers. It is equipped with a large thumbpiece with a stick crest. The body is fully engraved with friezes of geometric motifs. The worn, struck hallmark is incompletely legible and does not allow the maker to be identified : woman character / letters I.L (?)

Piece of beautiful decorative presence, repairs reported at the top of the neck to the right of the upper attachment and to the handle itself consolidated of course weaken these areas which are surrounded by yellow circles on two pictures showing the area on the outside and the internal correspondence.
