They are called Gobes.
They were inhabited by fishermen.

Jules Badin is the son of Pierre-Adolphe Badin and Julie Roth.
He was a student at the École des Beaux-Arts in the studios of Alexandre Cabanel and Paul Baudry.
He participated in numerous salons from 1873.
Jules Badin succeeded his father as administrator of the Manufacture de Beauvais in 1882, which he administered until 1913.
He married Marguerite Dieterle, daughter of Jules-Pierre-Michel Dieterle.
The Dieterles are a family of well-known artists in the Pays de Caux, they resided in Criqueboeuf near Yport and Fécamp.
He died in 1919, he is buried in the Passy cemetery in the Givenchy family vault. Among his descendants we meet Hubert de Givenchy, the famous couturier.
An exhibition was organized on the Dieterle Family at the Musée des Pêcheries in Fécamp.
