Rare and authentic color lithograph representing "Bonheur maternel" and signed lower right Aug. Pingot for Henri Auguste Pingot, great lithographer of the 19th century, known mainly for his religious lithographs. It was made after a work by Melle Le Brun (Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun, famous portraitist of the 18th century). This lithograph is part of the series "Nouvelles grandes études" and bears the number 26. In the lower left corner there is a raised mark indicating "Editeur d'estampes Desgodets Paris", as well as a printed mark "Paris, Massard, éditeur, r. Hautefeuille 20". The frame as well as the glass are original. Good general condition. 87 cm high - 72 cm wide
