Fausto Pratella (1886 – 1964) was born in Naples, the son of Attilio Pratella (Lugo di Romagna, 1856 – Naples, 1949),
an important naturalist painter who moved to Naples, where he became a leading figure of the Posillipo School and
Neapolitan Verism. Fausto learned the art from his father, but developed his own independent and original work.
The antique frame and canvas have been carefully and professionally restored.
