"Chinese Lacquer Tea Box "
Black lacquer tea caddy decorated with scenes of figures in palace and pagoda landscapes. The scenes are interspersed with garlands of flowers, flower vases, butterflies and insects. The interior contains two finely engraved tin boxes complete with their lids. In good condition, some wear in the decoration, does not carry the key. Chinese work, late 19th century.
