Elegant round painted wooden pedestal table resting on a tripod base richly carved with scrolls, pearls and stylised shells, embellished with gilded highlights.
The central baluster shaft is decorated with gadroons and pearl motifs, in a Baroque and Rococo style revisited in the 19th century. Posterior patina.
The circular top is made of painted wood decorated in faux marble in shades of brown and ochre, a sought-after decorative technique that gives the piece refinement and originality.
Good overall condition, with wear and patina from age.
