"Meaux, Engraved Tulip Cup, Silver, 1758"
Tulip-shaped silver cup resting on a pedestal molded with oves, the body engraved on two separate registers a rush of lambrequins in the base part and a frieze of dots, flowers and shells in the upper part. Meaux 1758-1759. Master goldsmith Jean Brissot or Briceau received in Bray in 1744 then transferred to Meaux in 1745. He died in 1775. Weight 148g - height 10.2cm - diameter 8.6cm. Condition, good, traces of use, the engraving is beautiful.
