The Tyrolean by Agost EGERVARY POTEMKIN (1858-1930) Hungarian painter. Oil on panel signed lower right format with frame 42x38cm. He began his art studies in Budapest and completed them in Munich. His teachers were János Greguss, Bertalan Székely, Simon Hollósy and Sándor Liezenmayer. He participated in the Budapest exhibitions from 1886. In 1910 he worked in Turkey. His series "Turkey" and several works are part of the collection of the Hungarian National Gallery
