Beautiful set of chess pieces, complete, in turned wood, handcrafted, lacquered and varnished. Vintage mid-20th century, 1960s-80s. Classic design in the style of Stauton. Complete, 32 pieces. Beautiful proportions, Kings 9cm, Queens 7cm, Knights 6cm, Bishops 6.5cm, Rooks 5cm, Pawns 4cm-4.3cm. Fairly detailed knights, horses' teeth visible. Each piece has a green felt base. The pieces are light (not weighted) King 28gr, approximately for example. In its original wooden box with metal closure, with 2 storage compartments. Good general condition: some traces of use and slight marks on the varnish or lacquer, without missing or cracked, box does not close very well and has some scratches, discreet. Approximately 600gr.
