Oval snuff box in solid 18-carat gold, decorated with guilloché engraving featuring raised dots and twisted rope borders. The lid is centred by an oval polychrome gold plaque depicting a hunting scene in a landscape with classical ruins, a dog and stag, trees, and birds in flight. Side panels decorated with floral “M” monograms in two-colour gold. Mirror-polished interior. Struck with French guarantee and master goldsmith marks.
